Marina Del Rey Sheriff Station

The Marina Del Rey Station provides police services for the unincorporated County area and operates six patrol boats in the harbor waters. Because this is a smaller facility, it is likely that your loved one may be transferred to a larger facility if this station becomes crowed. If occupancy becomes an issue, or if the inmate has a medical condition, he or she will be transferred to the Men's Central Jail in Downtown Los Angeles, or the Lynwood Jail for women.

The bail process takes longer at these larger facilities, thus it is better to bail from the Marina Del Rey Station where the process does not take as long. Starting the bail bond process early on can significantly decrease the duration of a defendant's incarceration.
